Dr. Irina Angel
Chief Psychiatrist
Irina Angel, MD, MS, is Board Certified in Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, practicing in Boston since 2001. Dr. Angel received her Medical Degree in pediatrics through a 6-year accelerated bio-medical program at the Russian National Research Medical University (RNRMU). She completed her psychiatric residency at the University of Pennsylvania and her fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. In addition, she has an MS in Health Informatics and Analytics from Tufts University School of Medicine.
Prior to LearnWell, Dr. Angel worked at Yale Center for Outcomes Research & Evaluation (CORE). She led the Data Aggregation Team to support Digital Quality Measures (dQM) projects under contract with CMS.
Dr. Angel joins LearnWell to launch an effort to realize the value of education-informed health benefits through providing integrated care that revolves around educational, social, emotional, and behavioral health and enhances growth, development, and well-being for children ages 12 to 18.
