Check-in is an essential component of the adolescent Psychiatric Day Treatment program clinical day. It ensures that patients are accounted for and ready for the day ahead. During check-in, patients can discuss any concerns they may have with their treatment team. The process also provides an opportunity for patient and care provider to review the progress made since the previous day or week. Check-in sets the tone for the day, ensuring patients are prepared and motivated to engage in treatment activities. It’s a chance for patients to set goals and reflect on their progress as they continue through the program. Ultimately, check-in helps to create a safe and supportive environment where patients can work towards mental wellness and healing.

The Cope Ahead group is designed to equip adolescents with the necessary knowledge and skills to manage mental health issues, while also providing them with tools to increase their safety at home and in the community. Teens will engage in daily safety training and skills planning leading to an increased likelihood of successful recovery.
