Our Leaders

As a warm and highly empathetic individual, Maya brings a powerful sense of purpose to her role as a Mental Health Technician at ilearn wellness group. In 2023, Maya graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a BA in psychology, and a secondary major in Sociology. During her time as an undergraduate, Maya developed a passion for evidence-based therapy modalities, the intersection between an individual’s environment and mental health, and worked with Quartet Health to connect individuals with mental health services across several regions. Previously an Assistant Captain on the UMass Women’s Ice Hockey team, she strives to continue being a leader and role model for the adolescent population served at ilearn wellness group. Maya is delighted to bring her energy, knowledge, and experiences to her role as she supports core clinical needs during program hours.

In her free time, Maya can be found trying new sports, engrossed in a book, or spending time with her friends. Maya loves engaging in novel experiences, obtaining new knowledge, and supporting social movements; she is always up for a challenge!
