Kathryn Lazar, LMHC, joins ilearn wellness group with 8 years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Kathryn is the Clinical Director of the ilearn wellness group Partial Hospitalization Program and has led the development of the program structure, curriculum, and operations. She holds a certification in Child-Cognitive Behavior Therapy, has training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, experience working in partial hospitalization programs, the emergency department, community clinical services, and outpatient private practice conducting psychotherapy and skills coaching. Kathryn has dedicated her work in the field to children and adolescents, parental guidance and family coaching, and crisis stabilization. Kathryn is excited to be a part of ilearn wellness group recognizing the need for resources in adolescent mental healthcare.
Kathryn graduated with a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University specializing in Expressive Arts Therapy. She was born and raised in Boston, MA and continues to live there with her beloved rescue dog. Kathryn enjoys performing in community music theater, hiking, camping, and skiing.
