Who We Treat

At our program, we take pride in providing comprehensive mental health services to a wide range of individuals. If your loved one is struggling with ADHD, anger issues, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, or obsessive-compulsive disorder, our team of experienced professionals is here to help. We take a personalized approach to each individual’s unique needs and circumstances to provide the most effective treatment possible.

We accept patients ages 10–18 who are experiencing symptoms that interfere with age-appropriate daily functioning and would benefit from a psychiatric day treatment level of care. Patients must be willing to participate in and attend scheduled therapy sessions. Each individual is evaluated on a case-by-case basis by our Program Admission Coordinator to determine whether the program is an appropriate fit.

Can therapy help with teens that avoid school?
Absolutely. At the heart of our work is a simple goal: teaching teens what to do when life becomes challenging. We work with each teen individually to understand what is making school difficult and develop a practical plan for returning. Together, we identify who can support them, what strategies they can use, and when and where to use those strategies successfully.
How can I help my teenager with anxiety?
When helping an adolescent with any mental health challenge, the first step is listening. Not listening to fix or to solve but listening to make sure your adolescent feels heard and understood. There are lots of ways to help adolescents with anxiety, one of our favorites is “Best, Worst and Most Likely Outcome.” Really listen to your child’s fear/anxiety and ask them: What is the best possible outcome? What is the worst possible outcome and finally, what is the most likely outcome? This can help your team open their mind to all the possibilities and not hyper focus on the negative possibility.
How do I know if my child needs more than weekly therapy?
Parents know their child better than anyone. When a parent feels their child is losing interest in activities they used to enjoy or sees their child’s mental health challenges interfere with age-appropriate behavior, it may be time for a higher level of care. Parents should discuss what they are seeing with their child’s provider and receive guidance around the next steps.
